This state-of-the-art single-family 2-story green home located in the historic district of Watertown, CT, was built as faculty housing for the Taft School, but it also serves as an energy-efficiency research lab for the school's science department. The super-insulated, solar-powered house produces more power than it uses, and it attained Passive house and LEED Platinum certifications. This house also won honorable mention in the 2015 CT Zero Energy Challenge.
