This fireplace was a welcome replacement to the odd and outdated unit that the owners had in the living room of their newly purchased home. Taking full advantage of the tall ceilings and the grand nature views we decided on a mantel and overmantel design that would be accented by arabesque tile and a granite hearth. The trim on the top of the chase accentuates the height of the space and takes full advantage of the drama of the high ceilings.
