The white cabinets with shaker-style doors, combined with open storage and wicker bar stools, give this kitchen an upscale casual feel that complements the furnishings in the rest of the house. This window seating was created in a previously unused corner using furniture drawers for storage that’s easily accessible.

Between the kitchen and family room was a previously unused corner that was the perfect place and size for this bar area. The closed cabinets provide extra storage space convenient to both rooms and the open cabinets provide display space.
