I drew up the plans knowing we needed to keep the architectural flow of the original five piece crown and custom molding's with the newly remodeled kitchen addition.
Because they no longer make these moldings, we had to bust out our routers, planers and table saws; to match the existing moldings done in 1985.
Also worth noting, because we removed the load bearing walls that supported the upstairs bedrooms. We installed a 6" x 16" x 22 ft. long beam over the island partially disguised with crown molding.
