With the help of our kitchen designers and remodeling contractor, we gave this kitchen a modern upgrade that's functional, comfortable, and looks good. One of the islands, used as a food prep space, now doubles as a dining table with room for counter stools on one of its sides. It ultimately allows the family to hang out in the kitchen without overcrowding!
