Mid-Century Modern Studio in NYC. Client and I decided on a neutral color palette (mostly grays and beiges) with small pops of warm colors. We created a style on a budget with an eye to the future, which includes signature pieces from Design Within Reach and Crate and Barrel. Sleek lighting and a minimalist approach to accessories can help apartment dwellers accommodate many different layouts without incurring extra costs. Closet doors have repositionable wallpaper that makes a statement but can be taken down without a hassle. This design philosophy allows for artwork and accessories that can be purchased as the pieces speaks to the client.
