Westchester, New York Traditional Colonial
This Westchester, NY center hall colonial was done in a palette of soothing creams, moss greens and soft teals with touches of gold. An unexpected juxtaposition of a Biedermeier settee in creme silk opposite a pair of beige Barcelona chairs keep the look fresh and not strictly "traditional". A tailored valance edged right up to the ceiling in the living room help give the illusion of height. A collection of matte white McCoy pottery from the 1930's on the fireplace mantle complete the picture.
